Be a significant contributor to ending avoidable blindness
Full-time position based in Philippines (Manila)
The Fred Hollows Foundation, an international NGO founded in 1992 has been a driving force in the development and implementation of blindness prevention programs in some of the poorest and most isolated regions in the world. Currently operating in 25 countries throughout Africa, South Asia and South East Asia, The Foundation is working to end avoidable blindness.
As a key senior role reporting to the Global Lead – Financial Planning & Systems, the Grants Finance Officer is a global position accountable for ensuring The Foundation fully addresses the financial obligations of all Donor Grants received from governments, institutional funders and bilateral development agencies. In addition to this you will ensure that, all Grant proposals submitted by The Foundation have been properly prepared (from a financial perspective) and these outcomes are consistent with the strategic planning, design and operational delivery of the Finance division and aligned to The Foundation’s strategic framework
To be successful in the role you will possess:
Experience working in a grant management role as a fund recipient
Direct involvement in developing budgets, forecasts and donor compliance
Capability in a multicurrency financial environment encompassing budgeting, reporting and foreign currency exposure analysis
Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or similar
Regional or HO experience in a role guiding or collaborating with multiple/varying teams, cultures or countries (desirable)
Exposure to Matrix reporting structures (desirable)
